Problems You May Face
Most visits to Argentina are trouble-free, but you should keep a close eye on your personal belongings in public places.
We as Emirati’s and Muslims, we see things more from religious perspective. So I think the first problem we will face is ‘Greetings’ because most of Argentine people usually kiss on the cheek, especially between men and women and maybe a pat on the back also, whether they knew you or not this is the Argentina greetings way. And as Emiratis will have problem with kissing on the checks and pat in the back between men and women. So when you face this try just to shake hands and smile.
Other problem may happen when you are in villages, isolated places and nature, you may have a stealing experience or you will see protests and demonstrations, try to avoid them. And make sure to take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance before you travel. And yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travel to some parts of the country.
Try to not talk about Chile and other political issues of Argentina, it’s not considered to be a good conversation to discus with foreigners, they prefer to discuss political issues with close friends and colleagues. You may talk to them about their family, because Argentine’s is family-oriented, or business.
