Interesting Sights:

Iguaçu Falls

One of the great tourist destinations of the world, Iguaçu Falls is located on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Most visitors reach the falls from the Argentine side through the city of Puerto Iguazú. The entrance of Devil’s Throat at a height of 82 meter (269 ft) is the most impressive of the 275 falls that make up the Iguazu Falls.

The Perito Moreno Glacier

Perito Moreno, an advancing glacier in the heart of Southern Patagonia, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Argentina's most popular attractions. There seems to have a whole other sense of scale in Patagonia, and Glaciar Perito Moreno is a prime example. It's one of the largest glaciers not only in Los Glaciares National Park but in South America, with a wall of over 200 vertical feet or roughly the size of a 15-story building that goes back 3 miles.

Bueno Aires

known as the Paris of the South, it is internationally known for its impressive boulevards, outdoor cafes, and historical facades.  Being such a diverse city, this is usually the first place everyone explores for all the things to do in Argentina.  The cobblestone streets, boutiques, and shops give this city its exquisite old world European charm.

The city is also famous for its art and history museums as that  have become very popular.  The endless nightlife doesn’t begin until 2am and doesn’t end until sunrise and the city is the perfect combination for any traveler (especially for people like me: night owls).  Don’t forget to indulge in the café con leche, steak, and other meats that are readily available throughout the city.

San Carlos de Bariloche

San Carlos de Bariloche is a city in the province of Río Negro, surrounded by lakes and mountains . It is famous for skiing but also great for sight-seeing, water sports, trekking and climbing. Another claim to fame is its Swiss-like atmosphere and its chocolate boutiques and breweries. Look for the St. Bernard dogs on display for tourists.

La Boca

Helvetica Light is an easy to read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.

La Boca It is a popular neighborhood for tourists with its colorful houses and the Caminito street, where tango artists perform and tango-related memorabilia is sold. Other attractions include the La Ribera theatre, many tango clubs and Italian taverns. Located in the capital’s southeastern corner, this working-class riverside neighbourhood has been nicknamed the “República de la Boca” since 1882, when a group of local youths declared the barrio’s secession from the country.

Museo Histórico Nacional

The National History Museum is the perfect place to begin your Argentine adventure and makes an interesting trip for those that are really hot on their history as well as those that want it all explained from the beginning. The museum deals with every aspect of Argentina's past, bringing us right up to date with modern day life in the country. The exhibits and artefacts are varied, well displayed and fascinating for all ages.

Abasto Shopping Mall

The Shopping Center is one of the largest in Buenos Aires.
The Art Deco building was converted into a mall in 1998 with several levels of shopping, aimed at the middle and upper-middle class. It's a great place to bring kids, with its extensive food court, enormous arcades with video games, and especially the very fun Museo de Los Ninos, located in the food court.
